Today we...
1. Finished our discussions from yesterday.
2. Wrote our first journal entry. The topic: Define communism and explain how it relates to Animal Farm. This journal entry needs to be 5 sentences long, minimum.
3. Filled out a story map on Animal Farm. Pick up one to fill out on Monday from the Cubby.
4. Did vocabulary review sheets. These are in the absent folder next to the door, and are due Monday.

One nite I woke up durring a terible storm huge bolts of

lightning esploded all aruond our house. And thunder boomed

so loudly it shook my bed Wind rattled the windoes, a poundig

Today we...

Wednesday, March 23rd

Today we...

1. Read for 10 minutes and completed a reading record.
2. Went over the answers to the 9/10 vocab sheet.
3. Discussed Chapters 9 and 10.
4. Broke into discussion groups for an in class activity. Each group got four questions that went a but above and beyond comprehension. The group then discussed these questions and made an outline, because tomorrow these groups will be responsible for teaching the class about the questions they were given and the topics they cover.

Monday, March 21st

Today in class we:

     1. Turned in our 7 Commandment Writing Assignment. If you were absent please get this to me ASAP.
     2. Did Chapter 7/8 Vocab in class. Please get a copy from the absent folder. REMEMBER to do Part 3(draw the picture) for homework!
     3. We read Chapter 7/8 in class. I WOULD NOT BE SUPRISED IF THERE WERE A QUIZ TOMORROW!!

Thursday, March 17th - Happy St. Patty's day!

Today in class we graded and turned in our vocabulary 4-6 worksheets. Then we took a quiz over chapters 1-6. Some of you very quickly learned that you need to read your assignments much closer! If you need to access that quiz to make your corrections (due tomorrow) you can find it here: quiz link . You may only make corrections on the vocabulary section!

In class, you also got a 7 Commandments Writing Assignment. You can find this in the 9B folder next to the door. This assignment is due Monday. Please see me if you have any questions.
