If you were absent Wednesday, Jan. 12th...

English 9B: Today we checked vocab unit 10, if you need to have this graded please come see me for a pass to come during advisory or stop in after school. We also talked about citations and will be starting our paper for Animal Farm very soon.

Gothic lit:Today we finished Psycho. You will be starting on your scene writing tomorrow so bring any materials you think you may need. What an ending!

English 9A: Today we continued working in our clause packet. We finished Adverb clauses, and you need to finish the noun clauses for homework. We also graded unit 5 in vocab, and if you were not here or did not have it done you need to see me asap to get that grade up. We also read parts of mango street and continued looking for a theme.

English 9A - Today we watched a good chunk of the Animal Farm movie and went over the powerpoint for unit 10 vocab. Please look for that ppt. on another post.

Gothic Lit - Is anyone else dying to know how Psycho ends?! Don't worry - we should finish the movie tomorrow and then you will have time to work on your scenes for Thursday (or Friday, depending on if we have school.)

English 9A - Today we took notes over theme, please get these from a classmate. We also read from a book called The House On Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros and completed part of our clauses packet. Please see me if you need a packet. Remember Unit 5 is due tomorrow!

English 9B- You have an exam over Animal Farm tomorrow. We did test review and I gave a crossword puzzle to use for review.

Gothic lit - Today we started watching The Man Who Knew Too Much by Alfred Hitchcock. Please get the worksheet when you return to class. This website was very helpful in understanding the confusing plot. Please comment below if you found any other websites that were helpful.

English 9A- Please turn in your questions from pg. 208-#2-7. We also started a Poe To Do List (in the 9A folder by the door) that you will need to complete. We graded Unit 4 Vocab and there will be a quiz tomorrow!
